Robins Air Force Base, Building 82 & 83
Hangar Renovations Warner Robins,
Georgia
The $7M project involved the renovation of two
190,000sf hangars to accommodate the maintenance
of larger C-17 Aircraft. This included new
weight & balance pads and the replacement of the
concrete floor. The project also included design
to increase the hangar door opening height to
58’ and provide field verifications to correct
structural steel elevations and reference
permanent bench mark elevations.
US Postal Service, North Metro P&DC Atlanta, Georgia
Structural design for the renovation of 22,500sf
of existing processing and distribution facility
into office space. The $1.4M project added new
windows through existing tilt-up concrete walls
and added a new entry vestibule. Utilizing
proprietary Tilt-Wall Panel software developed
in-house, we were able to qualify a tilt-up
panel for new window openings without the
addition of reinforcing.
USDA National Peanut Research Laboratory,
Building 1 Renovations Dawson, Georgia
This project involved the modernization and
renovation of the 16,000sf laboratory that was
originally constructed in 1968. This included
the removal of the existing flat wood fiber roof
and installing sloped cold formed metal trusses,
metal decking, and standing seam metal roofing.
The existing structure was analyzed and
reinforced and new structural steel canopies
were added at entries and the loading dock.
