load bearing wall removal, and thru-roof HVAC
support platforms with architectural screens.
The project cost $2.5M and was completed on-time
despite a very tight schedule.

Locomotive Engine Test Cells

2-story, 27,120sf, $6.0M structural steel and
reinforced concrete structure supported by
spread foundations with a 60 cubic yard,
reinforced concrete inertia block supporting the
engine and dynamometer in each cell. To
withstand overpressure, the walls in the test
cell area are reinforced concrete and the doors
and windows are blast resistant. Deflagration
panels are provided for explosion relief.
