Façade inspection of a 400,000sf, 8-story
building using non-destructive and destructive
examination in response to a concern of the USDA
regarding cracks and rust colored stains in the
limestone façade. It was determined that stains
on the exterior of the building were not
corroding façade panel supports, but a chemical
reaction within the limestone panels. Generated
plans and specifications for the $300,000 repair
of the panels.
Performed forensic investigation of exterior
wall efflorescence at the 60,000 square foot
plant quarantine facility. Investigation
required partial wall demolition and bore scope
examination to locate source of water entry.
Analysis determined determined water entry at
parapet coping.
